Compassionate, knowledgeable caregiver education for your congregation or group
My class “Supporting your Loved One at End of Life” moves your members from overwhelm and confusion to feeling confident and knowing their next step. Taught in 4 or 5 1.5-hour sessions, we cover end of life hopes and options, creating a care circle including discussing which professional supports are right for them, physical changes at end of life, and self care for caregivers. I provide a compassionate and informative learning environment where we acknowledge the heaviness of this topic and the stories that bring us to this class, while still getting through the content.

Brass Tacks:
Classes are capped at 20 participants, but 15 is ideal. A count is needed 2 weeks before the class so I can order the correct amount of books.
Classes are intended for adults.
A 25% deposit is due at scheduling and the rest of the fee is due at the first class via check or Venmo.
I find that charging ~$20 per participant increases the consistency with which people attend classes. This fee would be collected and kept by you and is intended only to incentivize consistency. My fee stays the same whether you decide to charge or not.
Coaching sessions included in the wrap around support class must be utilized within 3 months of the end of the class. This policy will be communicated to participants and I will encourage them to utilize the coaching sessions.
I typically schedule courses several months out, booking spring sessions in winter, etc, but this changes depending on my availability.
I am taking a 3 month break in March, April, and May of 2026 as I prepare for my wedding.
I use PowerPoint slides during class, so a room with a projector or screen is needed.
I like to provide a snack basket of individually wrapped snacks during class to help create a relaxed and safe atmosphere (along with fidgets). I include gluten free and vegan options. Let me know if I should skip this for any reason.
