Demystify Death

Education for Empowerment

  • 1:1 Coaching

In a 1:1 session for coaching and education, I’ll answer questions, provide resources, and share knowledge from my years of experience working in death and dying, dementia care, and hospice.

These sessions can cover both education and emotional support, depending on your needs.

    Topics can include:
    - Preparing for hard conversations, like disclosing a diagnosis to family or encouraging a loved one to engage with end of life planning

    - Demystifying end of life care options

    - How to evaluate care agencies for quality

    - Exploring your wishes for your last chapter so you can communicate them to your care circle

  • Preparing to Care for Your Loved One at End of Life

Caring for a loved one at end of life doesn’t have to be overwhelming or scary. It can be deeply meaningful and sacred. The difference, often, is simply knowing what to expect.

Whether your loved one has a terminal diagnosis, is aging, or you simply want to be ready when the time comes, this course will prepare you to make end of life choices with confidence, create a supportive circle of care, know what to expect from the death process, and maintain self care.

I offer this 4-session course through a number of channels including Minneapolis Community Education, partnering with congregations and other groups to offer it to their member, and direct to individuals via Zoom. Stay updated on when my next offerings will be via my newsletter or reach out via email to set up a session for your congregation.
